Der DT50-P1113 belongs to SICK’s Dx50 series of mid-range distance sensors, using time-of-flight (ToF) Technologie mit einem 658 nm red laser (Klasse 2, max 180 mW) to measure distances from 200 mm to 10,000 mm on natural objects with 90% reflectivity (down to 4–5 m on 6–18% gray targets). It offers 1 mm resolution Und ±10 mm accuracy (90% remission), with repeatability of ≥2.5 mm at fast averaging or better with slow averaging settings. Response time is selectable 20 ms or 30 MS, supporting dynamic applications like position monitoring and height control.
This sensor provides dual outputs: A PNP switching output (≤100 mA, short-circuit protected) for binary detection (z.B., distance >/< setpoint with adjustable 10–1000 mm hysteresis) und a 4–20 mA current analog output (16-bit resolution, ≤300 Ω load) for continuous distance transmission to PLCs or controllers. Additional features include multifunctional input for remote teach-in/scaling/inversion, moving average filtering (fast/slow), Und LCD display with 2x LEDs for on-site setup, Diagnostik, and measured value display without external tools.
Housed in a rugged rectangular plastic body (IP65 rated), the DT50-P1113 operates from 10–30 VDC (≤2.1 W) across -30°C to +70°C and withstands typical factory vibration/shock. It mounts via M5 holes with 50×32 mm footprint and connects via M12 5-pin angled connector (PNP HIGH = VS-<2.5 V). Compatible cables include PUR/YF2 halogen-free or PVC options from 0.6–3 m.
